Frequently Asked Questions about the Campsite

We are open from approximately April 1st to September 30th.

Camping Villaggio Calacavallo is located 6 km from the town of San Teodoro. To reach the town center and the most beautiful nearby beaches, the San Teodoro Tourism Board offers the “BEACH BUS” service. For more information and shuttle schedules, visit: www.santeodorobeach.com.

Camping Villaggio Calacavallo covers an area of approximately 200,000 sqm, which includes the Campsite with 340 pitches, the Village with 60 masonry Bungalows, and the Commercial Area with a Market, Bar, Pizzeria, and some Apartments.

Pets are loving companions even during holidays, which is why they are welcome at Camping Villaggio Calacavallo in both PITCHES and BUNGALOWS (one pet per bungalow upon request), as long as they are always kept on a leash.

If you wish to enjoy some relaxation alone, go on boat or walking excursions, no problem! Pets are allowed by reservation in certain types of Bungalows. For stays in Bungalows, only small/medium-sized pets weighing up to 20 kg are accepted.

Pets are not allowed in the entertainment/bar terrace, restrooms, pool area, and the market.

It is mandatory to indicate the presence of pets at the time of booking and to present the vaccination certificate at check-in.

Pets are not allowed on the beach (as per municipal regulations). The nearest “Pet Beach” is Costa Caddu, 5-6 km from our facility.

Pets must be kept on a leash and cannot roam freely within the village. The use of a muzzle is recommended.

Owners are required to clean up after their pets with the provided scoop and ensure that they do not disturb other guests.

It is not allowed to leave pets unattended at the pitch.

Owners must ensure full compliance with hygiene and health standards during the stay of their pets in the accommodations and pitches.

Any damage caused by pets to third parties and to the village’s structures is the complete responsibility of the owner.

Dogs of breeds considered dangerous or reported as such by the competent authorities are not allowed.

The nearest nightclubs are located in San Teodoro and Budoni, easily reachable within a few minutes by car or by shuttle service.

The entertainment activities within the Camping Village typically begin around June 15th and end, usually, on September 10th.

Cars cannot be parked near the pitches or bungalows. The campsite has two parking areas where guests can leave their vehicles. The gates close at 12:00 AM, and after this time, cars must be parked in the external parking area.

A deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due upon arrival at the village.

The tourist tax for 2024 is €0.80 per day per person (from the age of 12) for the entire stay.

Bookings open from January 15th.

For stays in Bungalows, the minimum period is 7 days.

During the low season and subject to availability, shorter stays of 3 to 4 days are also possible.

The pitches are approximately 50 sqm each. Each pitch is equipped with a CEE power connection and a water column. They are set up for lighting, television, and refrigerators.

Our bungalows are studio villas, with 2 to 5 beds, featuring a kitchenette, bathroom, and an outdoor patio with a table, chairs, loungers, and a clothes drying rack. They are equipped with air conditioning and a hairdryer.

The beach in front of the campsite is public, consisting of a sandy cove with rocks on the side. The water gently slopes down. It is 150 meters from the pitches and 300 meters from the bungalows. It is directly accessible from the campsite structures in complete safety, with no crossing roads. You can easily reach it on foot, even with strollers, or by bicycle.

The pool is typically open from June 1st to September 20th.

Opening hours: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM / 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

The pool is closed every Monday for technical and hygiene reasons.

These are privately owned caravans, with 4 or 5 beds, featuring a wooden outdoor veranda and equipped for cooking and dining outside. They come fully equipped with kitchenware, a refrigerator, and a gas stove.

You can send an email to the address specified on the CONTACTS page of each individual structure. Within 8 days of confirmation, you must send the required deposit. In case of cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded. Subletting and transferring the booking under any circumstances is prohibited unless agreed upon with the management.

Regulations

  1. Upon arrival, guests must register by presenting their documents in order to obtain entry authorization to the campsite.

  2. At the time of registration, a recognition bracelet will be provided, which must be worn throughout the stay, along with a car pass for parking.

  3. Guests must familiarize themselves with the opening hours of the reception, cash register, gates, and the services offered by the campsite.

  4. The fee is daily, regardless of the time of arrival.

  5. Each guest must make payment upon arrival at the campsite. In the case of a booking cancellation, the deposit paid will not be refunded. If the cancellation occurs 15 days before the arrival date, a penalty of 50% of the stay amount (excluding the deposit) will be charged. Guests who cancel a stay after it has started are not entitled to a refund, and the full amount for the stay remains due. The booking will be held for a maximum of one day after the arrival date.

  6. The bungalows and caravans are available from 4:00 PM and must be returned strictly by 10:00 AM – pitches must be vacated by 10:00 AM.

  7. The allocation of different accommodation types and boat spots is at the sole discretion of the management.

  8. Each pitch can accommodate a maximum of 5 people, and only one party is allowed per pitch.

  9. Quiet hours: 12:00 AM – 7:00 AM, and 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

  10. Access to the campsite is not permitted before 8:00 AM.

  11. Vehicles are not allowed to circulate within the campsite.

  12. Sports facilities: swimming pool, tennis, and five-a-side football are available during hours displayed at the reception.

  13. Only the use of a constantly monitored gas barbecue is permitted, except on windy days.

  14. Parents must accompany their children to the playground and restrooms.

  15. The management is not responsible for any damage or theft. Deposits can be made at the reception.

  16. Failure to observe the regulations will result in immediate removal from the campsite as an undesirable person.
